Il s'utilise avec les commandes SABIANA « CB » et « CB-T » et permet la mise en marche et l'arrêt automatiques du ventilo-convecteur. Il s'agit d'un véritable thermostat électronique. Le câblage est raccordé à la commande, tandis que la sonde de température, placée au contact du tuyau d'alimentation du ventilo-convecteur, mesure la température de l'eau qui y circule. Le ventilateur s'arrête lorsque la température de l'eau descend en dessous de 30 °C et redémarre lorsqu'elle atteint 38 °C.
