Foma Special Gas Coated Copper Plumbing Pipes for Gas
This special pre-sheathed copper tube, created for the distribution of liquid and gaseous fuels, is particularly suitable for insertion into wall structures, where the use of plastic sheaths is necessary.
The advantage of using this product is made evident by the type of structure with which this sheath is made, as it is high-density closed-cell expanded polyethylene with seven spacers, which, during the production phase, are given a twist in order to make them a spiral; this allows the pipe to be bent without the sheath channels being interrupted, favoring the evacuation of any leaks.
The contained copper tube is produced according to the customer's requests, according to various standardized regulations or, if requested, according to the European regulation CE EN 1057 and the dimensional range complies with the provisions of UNI CIG 7129, which in point 3.3.1.4 prescribes , for crossing solid walls, perforated walls and prefabricated panels, that the pipe is protected, without joints or welding, with a passing sheath walled in with mortar and cement.
